The AIF coordinates talks and meetings for its members on a regular basis.
To focus on specific issues, the AIF also runs special initiatives such as the Music Education Policy Group (MEP Group), which is chaired by the Arts Council England and offers leading organizations involved in music education policy-making at national or regional levels an international platform to engage, network and learn. The AIF also provides bespoke advisory services to philanthropists and social investors. The integrated range of services might include research into giving areas; screening of charitable ventures; strategic consulting for the design, the implementation and / or evaluation of charitable ventures; program monitoring and reporting; as well as knowledge-building activities such as arts philanthropy roundtables and workshops. Working through a world-wide network of experts in the field, AIF offers direct access to projects and organizations. It supports philanthropy and social investment that is meaningful and rewarding and which creates change by identifying efficient approaches that link critical issues and public needs to a donor’s personal giving aspirations and values.
